I was welcome with a warm greetings and have been acknowledged as the Le Club Accor Gold Member with free welcome drink and free room upgrades. I have been upgraded to the Suite room. The room is cozy and welcoming with great amenities. The bed is comfortable and nice to sleep on. Great bathroom design with light bulbs on the hair dressing mirror. Breakfast and dinner at the café Lautrec was amazing with lotsa of choice to choose from the menu.

The check out process was smooth. Overall, my stay at the Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi by MGallery Collection was excellent and I would recommend my friends and family to stay should they visit Hanoi. I will definitely consider staying back at the Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi by MGallery Collection for my next visit to Hanoi. « A night in Hanoi » My partner and I spent a quality night in Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi. We arrived a little bit late due to the traffic. Overall atmosphere is exceptional. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly. We were starving and had a good restaurant recommendation from the bar staff which turned out to save our night. Hotel room is beyond excellent - nice decor and perfect sleep quality. « Hanoi MGallery » Great hotel done in the traditional MGallery style. Friendly and helpful staff. Well located very close to the Opera. Some little things were somewhat troublesome: As a Platinum guest I have access to the executive lounge. My colleague is not platinum, so he did not.

When we wanted to work together or have a working breakfast, he is not allowed to come to my executive lounge for breakfast, and, I have to pay if I want to take breakfast in the main breakfast hall with him. Makes it challenging to work quietly when on a business trip. « My stay at the Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi » as usual, during my visit to Hanoi i would check in to this hotel because of the location and quality of the hotel. the price of the room is reasonable and the room's decor and furnishing are retro style. Thank you for your kind words and we are looking forward to welcoming you again in the nearest future. « My first impressions » Disappointed with the lack of lounge for a MGallery Hotel as even Novotel Siam Square in Bangkok and Novotel Max Yangon have lounges for breakfast. The location is good but may try other Accor hotels like the Sofitel Hanoi first before deciding on a regular Accor hotel. Lack of International newspaper is a minus as my mobile is too small to read e-newspapers.

Here is a quick summary: - Location: It is in a quieter part of the French Quarter but close to all of the main attractions. A few minutes walk from the lake and night market.

- Breakfast: Our rate included breakfast. Amazing spread and very delicious. Good mix of Vietnamese and Western foods. Beef Pho was really good! - Service: Great service. They work hard to ensure you are happy. - Rooms: Rooms are big and very well appointed. Bed and linens are high quality and very comfortable. Bathrooms are stocked with L'Occitane soaps/shampoos which was nice. We were welcomed with a nice fruit plate and chocolates. Room was very clean and quiet. Overall an excellent stay.
