best wine bar bruxelles

One would think that in a city where beer is taken very seriously and consumed in large quantities, it’s hard to find a good wine bar. Au contraire, wine enthusiasts in the EU capital have quite a few options for all budgets. Here’s a list of the best wine bars in Brussels that I’ve been to so far. A bar that celebrates wine. Here you can taste different wine labels in different quantities (full-glass or half-glass) thanks to a wine dispenser and accompany them with delicious tapas without breaking the bank. Etiquette has also a great terrace that overlooks the Abbaye de la Cambre, so it’s a good place for after work drinks on a sunny day too. > Read the full review here < The perfect place to unwind and enjoy delicious tapas and wine at affordable prices. Le Petit Canon has arguably one of the best terraces in Brussels and is located between Avenue Louise and Flagey. Their tomato tapenade is a must-try! > Read the full review here < My favourite wine bar in Brussels not only because of its broad wine selection but also its very tasty nibbles which come in generous potions and are very good value for money. Have you tried any of these places? Which are your favourite wine bars in Brussels? had a pleasant evening in this restaurant. The food is good and the atmosphere with candlelights is very cosy. As we stayed in a La Maison Haute just down the road we had to try Le Wine Bar DES Marolles after reading the great reviews, and we were not dissapointed!
best wine bars basel We had dinner a friday night and around 21:00 the relatively small restaurant was very busy, so I would recommend to make a reservation on advance.
wine bar la mescita This restaurant is the one in Brussels with the best value for money!
best wine bar in hkFor the price the quality of the dishes are more than good! Service also very good, he spoke several languages, we had a lot of fun and he came always at the right time.

We were four people and had a table next to the wall. We went to this restaurant with no expectations. And we became very positive surprised. Extremely good service from the waiter and very tasty food. We had chicken and lamb as main courses. The squid and tounge as starters. All four dishes tasted excellent. If I ever visit Brussels again I definitely go to this place again. The food was really great, good ingredients, very well made, in a fairly simple way. The new asparagus were to die for. Also very good and interesting wine list. And the staff were super nice, and very knowledgeable. All without ruining you! Me and my companion dined on a rather busy Thursday night. The food is very well prepared and served, delicious with no adverse comments to make. Comfort food at it's best I'd say. The ambiance of the interior is very cozy and warm. Wine list will satisfy most of the customers. The service is exceptional, neither pretentious nor too distant... A wonderful evening with a special friend - impeccable service, food explanations by the very best waiter that informed and enthused, food with flavour, served with perfect timing.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Our waiter explained the entire menu and gave his recommendations. Service with a smile. The food was excellent, wine was beautiful and the restaurant was decorated in a really classic style. Good prices too for such a great meal.I had bone marrow and rognons et riz de veau à la moutarde. Perfectly cooked both of them. Service was relaxed but good. The Bread is delicious. We had a Prosecco sur lie (Very Brut!!!) and a lovely Montepulciano d'Abbruzzo (Coste di Moro). I had no space left to try the desserts. The wine list has several by... We tried this restaurant without knowing what to expect, but we got out fully satisfied anyway. The place is great, ideal for a romantic dinner but not only; the service is terrific, the waiters are the mix professionality and friendliness in a perfect way; and last but not least, the food is great. The price is what you'd expect of... wrote a review for Noir Wine Bar Overall, I'm thrilled with the growing trend of new wine bars in Brussels.

This one claims to serve bio/natural wines, which… wrote a review for Winehouse Osteria This is an EXCELLENT restaurant. Tremendous wine selection, naturally, but the food is excellent. The burrata is top notch, and…We were a group of 4 and had the opportunity to try different dishes but unfortunately, we left unimpressed. Blunt food and quite considering the quality. As we all (should) have learned from How I Met Your Mother, nothing good ever happens after 2 AM. This is also true for Place Jourdan: At 2 AM, even Maison Antoine has closed down. The important decisions have to be taken much earlier anyway. For me, a night out on Jourdan can go two ways (both good ones): The down-to-earth, let’s-have-fries-and-beer way; or the wine-in-nice-glasses way. For the second option, Wine Bar 13° is the place to go. There is a fair choice of wines on offer, meaning that not only can you be certain that you will find something to your liking – but also fitting to your budget.

Spoil yourself with a glass of something fancy; or simply rest assured that you cannot go wrong with the – compared to elsewhere in Brussels – decently priced ‘house’ wines. Inside, it’s a nicely decorated wine bar with lots of wood, just enough light and the drinks menu never out of sight. Weather permitting, my first choice, though, would always be to sit outside, where the wine is complemented with some fresh air, and the people watching is always fun, too. Alas, there is one tiny little downside: Because they offer food, 13° is one of the few places on Place Jourdan where you are not allowed to bring your own food, i.e. the heavenly french fries you can almost smell from here. As I said: You have to make choices; and wine and french fries are not the best match, anyway. 13° Wine Bar, Place Jourdan, Brussels // Website Share this Taste of Brussels: sommelier, courtier en vins, amateur d’art, antiquaire et chef de cuisine souvent en salle pour expliquer, raconter et savoir à qui il fait à manger.
